Turn casual photos into professional headshots with AI
A while back I needed an ID photo for something urgent. The only way to get one was to find a photo studio, book a time, and wait around for it to be printed, and just one set cost about $13 (converted from my local currency). With how far AI has come, I felt like this should be easier and cheaper by now. So, I built Portraify. It turns 1–3 casual photos into professional headshots, and also does US passport photos and 1-inch / 2-inch ID photos. The thing I cared most about was likeness. A headshot or an ID photo is only useful if it actually looks like you, otherwise there's no point. So the AI is tuned to reproduce the real you, no beautifying, no de-aging. It also checks your input photos before generating (lighting, sharpness, face visibility), so you don't waste a generation on a photo that was never going to work. I know people care a lot about uploading their face to some random AI tool, so to be clear: input photos are processed in memory and discarded after generation. They're never persisted or used for training. Generated portraits are stored so you can re-download them. One thing to know before you try: it needs a signup (no card) and you get 3 free generations. A searchable, timestamped index of 1,124 AI Engineer talks
I love the videos and talks that appear on my feed ever day from the AI Engineer conferences. Unfortunately, there are so many of them it's often hard to find the time to keep up, or to watch what I'd like. So I built aietalks.com, a searchable written index and archive of all the talks on the AI Engineer Youtube channel. We currently cover 1,124 talks. The individual talk pages offer tl;dr summaries, key quotes and other summarised information from the videos. Search and packs allow you to find the talks that matter for your particular interest or use case. All the pages are accessible for agents etc though .md files (just add it to the URL) or via an auth-free MCP server which we offer. The site updates each day as new talks come in, with a little bit of a delay for me to handle deduplication or transcription errors of names and so on. Hope you enjoy this and find it useful!

Hi! Every month the "Who Wants to Be Hired?" and "Who's Hiring?" Threads come through I would think to myself, "there should be a match maker for these two threads". So I had abacus.ai whip one up. The methodology is pretty simple, data is extracted from posts using an LLM, score matches based on salary, domain experience, remote/onsite, etc., and then eliminate incompatible postings, like 'looking for remote work' and 'onsite only'. The result is two views: jobs-by-user and user-by-jobs.
